Principal Project Management Consultant

This position requires 15 years of practical project management experience, preferably in a consulting environment. Assignments may include a wide range of projects relative to industry, complexity, technology and political/geo-cultural influences.

Position requirements:

  • Ability to follow executive management direction and policies in the establishment of new company offices;
  • Ability to market, promote, develop, or expand existing project management contracts, and report on related business opportunities from initial contact through contract closure;
  • Account and team leadership of process driven and computerised project management services without direction;

Senior Project Control Specialist

A Senior Project Control Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining program schedules. Each specialist is assigned an area of responsibility for schedule development, including the determination of clients!| scheduling needs and development of schedules based upon these needs. Resource requirements for activity performance will also be determined and integrated into the schedules. Performance measurement information will be generated, analysed and reported to management in order to facilitate decision-making functions. The Senior Project Control Specialist will also provide guidance to the Project Control Specialist through a comprehensive QA/QC program to ensure product quality.
In addition, the Senior Project Control Specialist will be responsible for the management and coordination of work required under a specific task or contract, including the monitoring of project budgets and deliverables, meeting contractual requirements and ensuring client satisfaction.

Project Control Specialist

The Project Control Specialist will assist the Senior Project Control Specialist in the development and maintenance of program schedules. This includes gathering and compiling schedule information provided by the client, and preparing data input for the scheduling network system. The Project Control Specialist will also compile the individual status summaries required for reporting requirements. They will be responsible for performing QA/QC procedures on generated data output, and assisting in the preparation of deliverables. They will also be involved with schedule modifications and enhancements as dictated by the clients!| needs.

 
Cost Control Specialist

The Cost Control Specialist will be responsible for the development and maintenance of program budgets and estimates. The development will include the joint determination of Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and activity cost account-coding structures with the appropriate Senior Project Control Specialist. The Cost Control Specialist will also be responsible for schedule/budget integration and performance of !¡±what if!¡L cases utilizing varying budget scenarios.

 
Information Systems Developer

Responsibilities include analysis, specification, design and implementation of custom project management systems. Developers work directly with customers and should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This dynamic position provides developers the opportunity to work with a variety of customers on new projects that utilize an array of different technologies.

Developers will participate in tasks that span the entire spectrum of the software implementation life cycle. Candidates must have excellent programming, interface design, database design and SQL skills. The positions requires experience using one or more of the following programming tools/languages: VBA, C++, and Microsoft Access.
Additional skills desired include OLE/ActiveX, Java, HTML, Delphi, COM/DCOM, and Exchange/Outlook object level programming. Experience with MS-SQL Server or Oracle is a plus. The ideal candidate will also have educational qualifications in computer science and/or related disciplines. A degree or equivalent experience is required.

 
Information Systems Business Analyst

Information Systems Business Analyst is responsible for documenting the client!|s business process. The position involves working with clients to ensure that the business process meets client!|s goals. This position requires an understanding of client server technology, relational databases and modern business practices. Candidates require excellent communication and organizational skills.

Previous software development experience is also desirable. The candidate must understand project management software and concepts. Experience with ERP systems is a plus. The ideal candidate will also have practical project management experience. A degree or equivalent experience is required.

Knowledge of maintenance operations including material management, asset management, project planning, equipment and location hierarchies and workflow are essential. Experience in SQL databases, Report Writers and client/server technology is also required. The individual must be a self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision as well as working with and some times directing a team of consultants.

  • Prior experience with a CMMS package is required;

  • Skills in project management disciplines considered a plus;

Requirements include a BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture, demonstrated experience in preparing material quantity take-offs from design documents, soliciting vendor and subcontractor pricing information, and assisting with the development of line item pricing.

 
Senior Project Controls Consultant (Construction)

Consideration will be given to those candidates who have a minimum of 7-8 years of project planning and scheduling experience. Requirements include a BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Business. Candidates are also expected to have a demonstrated ability to develop and update critical path schedules (CPM) for projects, in addition to preparing forecasts, analysis and reports that identify project cost and schedule variance and performance. The position also requires proficiency using current Primavera PM software, MS Excel, MS Word, CMS and CEFRS.
